Qualifications

1. Driver

External Applicants

• GCE O/L exam pass with minimum 2 subjects
• Valid heavy vehicle driving license + 3 years experience in a recognized organization

Internal Applicants

• Unskilled / Primary / Semi-skilled category employees
• Minimum 2 subjects in O/L
• Valid heavy vehicle driving license + 3 years driving experience

2. Laboratory Assistant

External Applicants

• GCE O/L exam pass with minimum 2 subjects
• NVQ Level 4 certificate (relevant field) from recognized institute

Internal Applicants

• Unskilled / Primary / Semi-skilled category employees
• O/L pass with minimum 5 years’ service in the relevant field
• Must pass the relevant trade test (government technical college)

3. Office Aid

• GCE O/L exam pass with minimum 2 subjects

Salary Scale (U-PL Category)

• Driver: Basic salary approx. Rs. 45,174.00 (as at 01.01.2026) + Allowances
• Laboratory Assistant: Basic salary approx. Rs. 45,174.00 (as at 01.01.2026) + Allowances
• Office Aid: Basic salary approx. Rs. 40,763.00 (as at 01.01.2026) + Allowances

(All government Cost-of-Living + other allowances applicable.)

Age Limit

Minimum 18 years

Maximum 45 years

(Upper age limit not applicable for internal candidates.)
