Educational Qualifications & Experience

1) Research Assistant (MA2-2)

External Candidates (Vocational):

• National Vocational Qualification NVQ Level 5 or above relevant to Research Work issued by a TVEC-approved Technical/Vocational Training Institute.

Internal Candidates (Vocational):

• Should possess the same qualifications required for External Candidates.

2) Network / Hardware Technical Assistant (MA2-2)

External Candidates (Vocational):

• National Vocational Qualification NVQ Level 5 or above relevant to Information Technology issued by a TVEC-approved Technical/Vocational Training Institute.

Internal Candidates (Vocational):

• Should possess the same qualifications required for External Candidates.

Age Limit

• Minimum: 22 years
• Maximum: 45 years
• No upper age limit for internal candidates

General Conditions

• Must be a citizen of Sri Lanka
• Must be physically and mentally fit to perform duties and serve in any part of the island
• Must possess an excellent moral character
• Applicants from State Corporations/Statutory Boards should submit applications through the Head of Institution
• Curriculum Vitae should include names, addresses, and telephone numbers of two non-related referees
• Photocopies of educational and other certificates must be attached
• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview
